Ethan

Ethan really isn't sure what to think of Morgan yet.  He gives her kisses and hugs.  Calls her momo.  Other than that just goes on with his ordinary day.  He's not a fan of finding me in bed with her when he comes in in the morning.  He doesn't really like it when I am nursing her.  But he's getting better with it.  His language has really exploded lately.  He has been trying to say most words we say.  Dad has learned he needs to mean what he says and watch the words he uses!  When Ethan says "I Love You" it's so sweet it melts my heart.  Every.  Single. Time.  He has also started to really enjoy going in the backpack with Dad.  Now he goes to the backpack and says "bapa" when he wants to go.

For some reason he woke up one morning crying saying "Dora" over and over again.  He never watches that.  Of course it wasn't on tv at this time so we had to find it on the computer!
Both babies crying while waiting for dad at the lumber store...
Ethan has finally started to leave glasses and hats on.  Now we need to find some glasses his size!

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
