Morgan

Well Morgan is 12 days old already!  Seriously, I remember in high school how time just couldn't go fast enough.  That slowly changed over time but once you have kids time just flies by you!

Morgan has been doing pretty good.  She sleeps a lot and nurses pretty well.  I won't get into the torture I endured for those first few days... thank goodness for the invention of nursing shields!  Last night was our first decent night of sleep.  It's been hard because we need to make sure Morgan doesn't wake up Ethan.  Unfortunately Ethan hasn't been sleeping the best the last few nights so it's made it extra tough. Here's hoping that's over with and we can get some more good nights of sleep!  This momma sure functions better with sleep!

Morgan doesn't seem to mind the dogs, Ethan screams or noise, and it doesn't matter if its light or dark she will sleep anywhere.  She doesn't like her sponge bath and she screams when we change her pants. Of course we joke that she better keep that up for another 20+ years!  LOL!

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
