4 years!

4 Years ago today we were getting married in the mountains in Montana with hopes to live in the area some day. Little did we know that we would get to live here so soon. We love it here. Mark had to work this afternoon so we decided to do a little picnic at a cool spot that I hadn't seen yet. Well Mark didn't know the way EXACTLY so it took a little longer and by that time we were both starving so we ate our lunch on the drive. Once we got to the spot though it was pretty awesome. It is called Rock City and not many people know about it. I will be shooting a small wedding here next month for a couple that has a pretty remarkable story.

It was back roads for most of the way. I'm not gonna lie... I was scared at times! This was the gate we drove through....
There were rock formations everywhere and then it dropped down to the river....
Ethan was pretty happy the whole time because he found a cool rock (and well, he is pretty happy most of the time!)
We have a special couple coming to see us tomorrow that is going to watch Ethan for a little bit while we go out on the town! Look out... we might even stay up til 11!

It's amazing what has happened in our lives over the last 4 years. I couldn't imagine anyone else I would want to spend my life with. Mark is an amazing husband and dad and I look forward to spending many many more years next to him.

What a cute family! I love the pictures but I think I would rather take my 4-wheeler thru that gate than my truck.
    Love and miss you guys

  3. It is only 14 miles to the Montana state line from where you got married. Close enough you can call it WY or MT.
    Love you, Mom

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
