More... already!

Here are few pictures to show what has been going on around these parts....

Can you guess what this is?
It's a poppy right before it blooms! I thought it was pretty awesome. Dakota decided he needed to check out what I was doing.... I have been obsessed with taking pictures of all the flowers blooming in our yard as well as others ;) Not sure what I am doing with them yet so I can't post them on the blog (they may become a card in your mailbox or huge prints on my wall)
Shortly after we had gotten back from Wisconsin Ethan had an appointment with his physical therapist. She was quite impressed with all of his new moves (he was crawling, waving, doing "so big!") but she said next we should work on him pulling himself up on things. I thought "oh ok." Geez, the next day he was doing just that. Now I can't keep him off ANYTHING! Mark said "this is what we wanted right? For him to get healthy, big and strong?!?!?" Of course that is what we wanted but he became A LOT more to handle all of a sudden... Here is one of Ethan's favorite things to do now....
And here is pulling himself up in the crib.... this boy is full of expressions!
Here is a picture of us that mark took... Ethan LOVES string and one of his fascinations is the string to the blinds behind the couch...

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
