I know I know


It's about time huh?!?!? I have had lots of hopes, ideas, thoughts of what to put on this family blog of ours but time and energy have not happened at the same time for this blog lately. You might think "oh no, she hasn't been taking pictures!" Oh, don't worry my friends. I have a ton of pictures! And I am proud to say that I have been printing a lot of pictures to keep up on E's (or should I say our family) scrapbook. More on that later... I hope ;) Anywho... here are some pictures from my phone...

This one Mark took ....
We got to see 2 beautiful babies while we were in WI and these were a gift I had made. I made one for Ethan and Eli but found that they were about 6 inches too short! Frustrating thing about different brands and sizes!
Here is Ethan with his Great Grandma Val.... (really regret not taking the time to get out the good camera and move them outside along with his great grandma but hey... I got this picture anyway ;)
Oh the girls.... the first night we were in WI 2 of my oldest and bestest girls hung out with me and some wine of course ;) (No need to mention the fact that Mark tried to lay E down but he wanted me so he cried and cried and then.... threw up all over K's guest bed! So sorry K ;) Lov ya!
We went to Milwaukee to see Mark's parents place and check out the zoo. Of course Mark thought E needed a Wisconsin hat...
We took pictures of E with each of us in each state we went through. We didn't get Wisconsin as we arrived since it was 6am and E was sleeping so we got it on the way out. Oh but E was EXHAUSTED! We took him out of his car seat and carried him a ways and he was still asleep for the pictures and even when we put him back in his car seat! Poor baby... I couldn't skip the WI sign though!
I took the phone pictures and put into one so that I can add it to our scrapbook...

I had done the same thing for our trip to AZ....

Once we got back we lowered Ethan's bed.... here he is so happy that he pulled himself up in his crib!
Poor baby... so tired
We checked out the local library last week. Ethan loved it. Funny thing... they are still on the paper system. You know... where they open the back of the book, pull out the pink card, stick that in their system and stamp the book to show you when it is due back. Love it!

NOW... let's see if I can go through my other pictures and do an update on those as well... hmmm

    Man E is more well traveled then I am !!!!!
    What a big boy sitting so good, and being such a good traveler!

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
