Getting big!

Sunday Ethan got his first real bath. The baths that he has been getting were more like sponge baths. This one we actually took him out of his crib and put his little bum in a small tub of water! He was so darn cute! I wish I got a picture but Mark wasn't there and I was busy giving him the bath. He weighed 4 pounds 10 oz. Yesterday he weighed 4 pounds 8 oz!

Monday Mark got to be at the hospital all day with me since he had off work. I love watching him do his cares. Mark is just funny. He was changing his diaper and Ethan had pooed but he wasn't done. Mark had wiped his bum and had a hold of his little legs and woop... it shot out! He got his clean diaper and his clean outfit. So Mark put another diaper down and cleaned him all up and woop... it took 4 diapers before Ethan was all done! Mark got to hold him 3 times in the day! I was very happy for that since I got to hold him a lot in Seattle and I felt bad that he wasn't there too. They even put him on the nasal canula for a half an hour when he held him. It was the first time Mark saw him on the nasal canula. They weighed him and he was 4 pounds 12.8oz! OMG! When we left for Seattle on the 21st he was 3 pounds 13oz... he has gained a pound in 11 days! It is because they are fortifying his breast milk with what they call 26k cal. I knew it would start to put the pounds on but uff da! I really don't know where it is going on him. He has some cheeks and a big chin but they have always been there. One of the nurses decided to give Ethan his indian name. It is "boy with many chins." His chin is never ending right now! Poor lil guy ;)
