Wednesday...

Ethan seems to be doing better as he seems more active and less swollen. They still don't know for sure if he has an infection but now they think he might have pneumonia! I really wonder how much I can handle some days!

Mark was talking to one of the nurses and she had said that she wears a pedometer at work and that the other day she walked over 7 miles in her 12 hour shift! That is just crazy! So Mark said to her "yeah I bet the nurses have got to the point of drawing straws to see who has to have Ethan since he makes you guys work so hard!" She of course said no and that they like Ethan. Ethan tends to have the alarms going off a lot and now with his infection and such it has them doing a lot of work. It might help that Mark and I chat a lot with the nurses too so they just might like us.

  1. I bet the nurses get a kick out of you two... Especially with the stories you tell on here.
Well Pneumonia huh?, have they taken an xray of any kind yet? Hopefully if he has it they caught it quick, so he can heal quick....

    Hang in there mommy...

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
