Today is Ethan's first birthday! Wow how that first year has flown by. Last night as we were going to bed I was talking about how one year ago I was going to bed with some aches but nothing bad. I was getting up early the next morning to get my blood drawn for the usual diabetes test as well as entertaining family that was coming to town for Easter. Yes, last year on this date was Good Friday. Last year on this date we had a big surprise. I can't even explain the emotions we went through. It was crazy. In the end though it was a miracle. It was awesome. This little boy has grown like crazy. He has got us wrapped around his little finger. Every day I think about how full my heart is with love for this little family of mine. Life couldn't be any sweeter right now.

I loved the video and yes it made me cry. Just thinking back a year ago. How scary it was for all of us. I prayed all the way to Great Falls to please be with this little guy and don't let anything happen to him. Several prayers were said for this little guy all around the world and I would like to thank everyone for that. He is an amazing boy that has brought so much joy to our family. Happy Birthday Ethan! ReplyDeleteK so I bawled like a baby - thanks for reminding me of how quickly this year went by...man Leah, our babies are 1 years old. Ellie has a few more days but wow, seriously? He's such a lucky little man - thanks for sharing the video Leah, it was fantastic as usual:)
ReplyDeleteI have watched this movie half a dozen times at least. I tear up every time. Words cannot explain what a miracle Ethan is. Words cannot explain what you guys went through. I am so lucky and so proud to have gotten to celebrate E's 1st birthday with him. Holding, playing with him was so wonderful, I miss him so much now. Thank you so much!
