Guess what's new?

Ethan has a tooth coming in! It is just starting to break skin so you can't really see it unless you really get in there but he isn't a fan of that so.... no pictures... yet ;) He hasn't been cranky about it at all. Hopefully I am not speaking too soon here.

For Valentines we took a little drive towards the mountains. Ethan is a pretty darn good traveler. He loves the car. Maybe because it's like a treat for him since he doesn't get to go anywhere very often! We were talking about how good of a baby Ethan is. I said "maybe he is making up for the first 4 months that was a tough road for us" and then I said "hmmm or maybe he is making up for what is yet to come!" Mark responded with "that's more likely!"

Some people know that I am a little crazy now with Ethan. Being crazy about hand washing is only part of it. My sister knows this. What's funny is when her boyfriend saw this picture he said "that must be an organic tattoo!" Well, no, close though. Simply digital.

And to make up for the lack of posts on the blog lately.... here are some pictures of Ethan and his little tool bench Mark picked up for him for Christmas. He loves this toy! He loves to eat it anyway!

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
