A couple uh ohs and a good laugh

So the other day I thought I would finally adjust the blinds that have been bugging me all this time. They are too long and the strings are really too long. So I was looking at one with Mark for a good 5 minutes to figure out what length we wanted the strings. The strings are the shortest when the blinds are down. I double checked everything a few times. Cut the strings. All good. Went on to the next blind and cut them the same length. Oops only I cut them the length I wanted when the blind was up! So now I have to buy a blind to replace it and because they are older I am going to have to buy 2 so they match! UGH!

When I went through Target a few weeks ago I found this really cute blanket I have been eyeing up for the last few months on clearance for $5! I was pumped. Got it home and was about to throw it in the washer and then checked the cleaning instructions. Hand wash! What?!?! Who wants a blanket that is hand wash only! Ok I probably would have still bought it if I noticed it in the store because its super cute and I plan to use it for our family pictures in a few months.

I gave Ethan a bath the other night and we finally got some good laughs out of him. Can't figure out what was so funny because I have tried making the same noises, gave him a few more baths, played with the bath toys, and nothing works! Stinker. Good thing we got it on video because we have watched it over and over again! Make sure you have your volume on for this video ;)

He also has been doing a little bit of an army crawl. He is a mover these days!

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
