10 months!

OH. MY. GOSH. Someone stop the clock. This boy is growing so fast. Time is going by too quickly. I mean really. 10 months ago we said "hmm I don't know if we will have another baby." Now the talk is "so when should we have another!" No, not tomorrow. But we think Ethan needs at least one sibling and he is just so darn cute!

So lets see what Ethan has been up to:

-15+ pounds
-Eats cereal, oatmeal, banana, prunes, pears, sweet potatoes & applesauce
-wearing 6-9 month clothes
-sitting pretty darn good... still need to be by him though
-babbles
-screeches... no REAL laugh yet but its getting there
-has the CUTEST smile and smiles A LOT
-loves story time
-loves to grab things... this boy is a lean mean reaching machine!
-rolls to what he wants... tried to roll right out the door!
-loves car rides (you know, the 1 car ride a month to the dr! jk... kind of ;)
-Sleeps 12-13 hours at night (hallelujah! I think he is making up for all the sleep we lost the first 6 months of his life!)
-loves the dogs... he rolls to them now and I caught him half on top of Dakota and playing with his paws the other night!
-he likes baby signing time, baby einstein, sponge bob and a little Oh Toodles (mickey mouse clubhouse)

This is him in the truck yesterday (with a little bananas and milk on his chin ;) as we had to take a little drive to get him some more fresh fruits and vegetables...

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
