Flagstaff...last month

So last month Mark and I decided to take a trip to Flagstaff, AZ. It was awesome! The weather was perfect and the scenery was gorgeous! Best of all the town is very dog friendly! We didn't know this at first though so we kenneled them for 2 days. The last day we decided to pick them up to go have breakfast with them. I captured this picture of them in the town square... it is a picture that totally represents them! love it!

Then we walked into a cowboy store and Mark picked up some chaps... I don't remember the comment but one of us made a comment that made him laugh and I got it on camera.. priceless!

I was trying to set up the camera to take a picture of the two of us when I heard Mark say "Can my wife take a picture of you?" I looked up and thought why is he asking THIS guy if I can take a picture of him... then I realized he had a huge snake around his neck... of course then Mark had to touch it too... yuck! Love the toothpick in the mouth too ;)

Mark and I right before the snake guy....

Mark and I decided to go for a hike because there were so many around we found one on the internet that would take us about an hour. While trying to find the trail head we found elk and decided to follow them to see what kind of pictures I could get...

Needless to say we never did find the trail head but had fun hiking through the woods to get pictures of the elk... wish I had a telefoto lens at that moment!

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
