Editing and Printing pictures...

So I have been editing pictures for the last few weeks now trying to get caught up on all of Ethan's pictures. I placed a huge order with a print company because they were having a great deal on 4x6's. Took me two weeks to get them (long story) but I did get them today. I was so excited as I have been working on a few scrapbook pages but needing the pictures to finish them. Unfortunately I am pretty disappointed with the color of the pictures. What is really irritating is that this print company is supposed to be a "pro lab" while I compared them to another print company that is "less quality" and those are much better! It took 4 hours to upload the pictures to this lab to have the order placed and now I get them and they are horrible. So disappointing.

Good news is that I am done editing the first 7 months of Ethan's life! Only 2 more to go... kind of. Since the pictures will only continue for many joyful years! Lately I have been thinking of how great it is to be a mother. There is just no feeling like it. He is absolutely amazing. And the fact that you can say "hi" or "boo" a million times over again and he smiles e.v.e.r.y. t.i.m.e. is so precious and sweet. Love this boy!

Here are two of my favorites from recently....

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
