Prince Ethan....

So Ethan has been grabbing at things more lately. Today he started to grab at the little mirror that hangs above him on his little gym. The mirror reminds me of the mirror from Snow White. So I said to Ethan "Mirror mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all? Well prince Ethan of course!" And every time I said this Ethan would give me a huge smile and kick his legs and throw his arms... it was so adorable! (No I didn't get a picture of it as I was folding laundry at the time ... the multi-tasker that I am (not!) But here are a few pictures that Mark took yesterday....

Soon his hair will be long enough to gel ;) Right now he has 3 long hairs that go to his nose. I plan on cutting them but they are sooo cute. They remind of me of Charlie Brown! Of course I have to get a good picture of those hairs before they get cut off because that would technically be his first hair cut... {tear} why do they grow up SO fast!

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
