I wanted to get his little facial expressions recorded. I just love how he arches his eyebrows when he is trying to open his eyes or how he perks his little lips! This is the first time seeing him without anything in his mouth. His feeding tube is through his nose right now. Speaking of his mouth... so he has this little dot on the middle of his tongue. A nurse pointed it out to me and said that she thinks it has been there since he was born. Hmmm... well I have the same thing but it's from a tongue ring... (very bad idea Ethan... don't think you will be getting one! ;) It was funny though because there were 2 Dr.'s and a nurse in here the other day trying to get him to stick out his tongue because they thought it was the weirdest thing. So they asked me what it was?!?!? Hmmm.... who is the Dr. here? ;) I hope to get that on camera some day!

Okay that did it. Just seeing that little man makes me miss him more every day. I am coming up for another visit next week to see that little man in GF. Ask Mark what project he would like to do next week.:)

Love all three of you and miss you very much and it has only been a week today.

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
