Monday... flying!

Well it is 4:30 here and I know everyone is wondering the status of what is going on. We have just been informed that yes we are going to Seattle. I will be flying with Ethan and the medical team at 7 tonight and we are working on Mark's transportation there. I dropped the dogs off at the kennel and told her we would let her know when we would be picking them up. I love the kennel we are using... she is soooo understanding with everything! This is so hard to think that I will be flying with my little baby to Seattle to have heart surgery but we know that it is a good thing and hopefully we will start to see positive strides after this. Please pray for all our safe travels for tonight and I am praying that we can get Mark to Seattle tonight instead of tomorrow. Not to mention, pray for a safe surgery and return to Montana. I will keep posting on the blog as we know more. We appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers. Please don't be offended if we are unable to answer your call in the next few days... you can always email or comment on the blog ;)

  8. I missed Mr. Ethan today at work and my thoughts have been with you since I left you both in Seattle. Hope Mark made it safely. Best of luck with the course of action that Seattle Children's plans to take...I know he is in great hands! I too hope that Ethan will make great strides and you will be back in Montana soon. Hopefully, I will see you on your return trip! Take care!

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
