Dave and Malory's Wedding

So 2 weeks ago I assisted Addie at a wedding for David and Malory. This couple was so cute and so much fun! They got married at the LDS temple in Mesa, AZ. I learned a lot about the religion that I never knew before. The place was so calming. It reminded me of Mexico in the morning. Cool breeze, sunshine, tropical plants everywhere, landscaping done perfectly, birds chirping, fresh air... it was just beautiful!

We did not take any pictures of the actual ceremony because you are not allowed to take pictures in the temple. I also learned that I was not allowed in there since I was not LDS but then I also learned that children of the family were not allowed in there until they were old enough to do the religious things they do to be a part of the temple. (Addie, please correct me if I have something wrong here ;) So this was a picture of David and Malory going through the doors so we could get a picture... she is so funny! She made this face and we all started to chuckle and she said "I have to practice my look!"

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
