Snowboarding...

So I knew Mark had never went snowboarding in powder or the west so I wanted to make sure he got to go while we were there. So we arranged for my uncle Andy to take Mark to Red Lodge, MT on Friday while I went shopping in Red Lodge with my mom and my aunt Diane. Of course I wasn't about to send my good camera with Mark on the mountain and I forgot my small camera so I called Diane to send a camera with Andy. I was told Andy griped about it and said they don't have time to take pictures... fortunately Andy decided to snap a few pictures for me (thanks Andrew I appreciate it!) but I found out that the pictures he took seemed to be of Mark right after he wiped out (which from experience skiing with Andy I know he slushed Mark after he wiped out and right before he snapped the picture!) They said the snow was awesome and there were no lines which meant the mountain wasn't busy so Mark got a great day of boarding the mountains!

After meeting up with the guys we headed back to Cody for a night of games and yummy lasagna that Diane made. We played Taboo and Cranium (2 of our favorite games) and we split up the couples so it would be fair... which I think also made it more competitive! I was the only sober one there (minus my 14 yr old cousin and her friend;)! It paid off though when it was our teams turn and they needed someone to spell schizophrenia! It was so weird normally I would be like um yeah I don't know how to spell that but I was so confident that I would get it right.. which of course I did but then the next morning I got up and thought how in the world did I spell that right! Mark and I love to play games but we don't get a chance to play that much down here. Oh let's not forget the fact that Mark and Diane were on one team and they kept saying how much more fun I am when I am drinking wine with them! Yeah whatever... hey Mark and Diane... spell schizophrenia! LOL! If only I could remember the easy word Diane spelled incorrectly I would post that too!

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
