Camping at Knoll Lake

So we made it back from our exciting camping trip! It started out not REALLY knowing where we were going ;o So I thought why print off directions when the gps will get us there...well the gps didnt know where the lake was right away so we decided to stop at a bar and grill in Payson...I think it was called the Buffalo grill...really good food and a nice place. When we got to the top of the mountain we found exactly what we were looking for...a quiet place, beautiful scenery, cooler weather and camping along the road (not the typical campground.) We set up camp and then hiked down to the lake where Mark fly fished and I of course wandered around taking pictures. After fishing we decided to find a nice place to watch the sunset. Mark loved driving around on the rough roads and getting the truck full of mud...those man things! We got up early to see the sunrise and so Mark could do some more fishing. We decided to head down the mountain to see what else we could find. We found another gorgeous lake called bear lake where we chilled for awhile before heading home.

The crawfish that were biting Mark while he was fishing...guess we will have to buy him some waders for next time!

Sad Mark after 2 days of fishing and no bites....

About Me

This blog started as a hobby for many reasons. It later became a way to keep the family up to date on our micro preemie baby, Ethan. Now as Ethan is nearing the 8 year mark with a little sister of 5 years I am finding a new reason to document on this blog.

Last year we were told by the school that Ethan had cerebral palsy, a blindspot and dyslexia. That is what started it all. I started taking him to doctors to find out what was going on and why this hasn't been discovered before now. In April 2017 we were told that he has executive functioning disorder. What the heck is EFD I thought?!?! After the doctor explaining it to us he basically said that if we don't start making changes now he could fall into the ADHD or possibly the autism category. Ok... so now what? What can we do?!? Well this blog is my way of documenting it all not only for me but also to help others find their way thru similar situations.
