So Marks days off this week are Thursday and Friday. We are planning on going camping in the mountains where there are many lakes to go fly fishing at and you can camp in any location....this is awesome to us bc back in WI people really didnt do that...WY yes but WI no. Mark and I both like camping but planning this trip has made me realize that we have only went camping once together and that one time is a time to remember! It was the first time that Mark met my family in WY (this being my mother, sister, aunt, uncle and cousin and step father (he didnt go camping though)) We loaded up the vehicle, camper, horse trailer and cooler of course. We were driving through the mountains and the car was overheating so we had to pull over at the top of the mountain. This is when I found out my little sister was prego with her second child and no one else knew yet. Then when we got to the campground we mixed up some margaritas. All us of had enough that you could say we started to get giggly and a little out spoken. Needless to say by the end of the trip everyone knew my sister was pregnant and Mark got to see the real side of my family on day 1....including this scene....Mark talking oh wait I mean listening to my uncle tell stories around the campfire while my aunt and mother continued to drink margaritas and my sister and I fighting while Mark asks my uncle uh should we do something and he yells nah let em duke it out! Everyone slept in the camper except for Mark and I were in a tent in bear country. I woke up in the middle of the night needing to go to the bathroom but I heard something walking around our tent....it was a bear or so I thought. Then I found out that my aunt forgot to take her dog in the camper and he was outside the whole night...so thats why the "bear" sounded like he had a tag around his neck! The funnies part about this trip is that when we got home Mark actually asked me what I would say if he asked me to marry him!
Ahhh yes memories! We have had a lot of house projects that sort of stopped us from doing these extra things until now.....so we will be going camping and I hope to have lots of pics from our adventures!
That is such a sweet story!!!!! I love it!
